Dwayne Wharton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community support and organizational development. As Co-Founder and Principal of Just Strategies since January 2020, Dwayne has focused on consulting services that include strategic planning and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training. Prior to Just Strategies, Dwayne served as the Director of External Affairs at The Food Trust from November 2011 to October 2019, promoting access to nutritious food through collaborative efforts with various stakeholders. Dwayne's career spans multiple roles in nonprofit organizations, including National Deputy Director at Friends of the Children and Director of Residential & Homeless Programs at Project H.O.M.E. Dwayne also held leadership positions at the American Red Cross and People's Emergency Center, in addition to serving as a TEFL Instructor with the Peace Corps in Mozambique. Dwayne holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor's degree in History with minors in African-American and Latin-American Studies from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
