Megan Yamamoto

Megan Yamamoto has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Megan started their career as a Softball Umpire at the Brampton Girls Softball Association in 2016 and continued in that position until 2018. In 2018, they joined Hollister Co. as a Brand Representative and worked there until 2021. During their time at Hollister Co., they gained valuable experience in customer service and brand representation. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at the City of Brampton. Megan Yamamoto then transitioned into the field of marketing, starting with a Marketing Internship at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2021, where they worked as a Recreation Social Media Assistant. Megan also gained experience in the field of agriculture as a Marketing Intern at CloudHawk in 2022. Currently, Megan Yamamoto is working at Just Vertical, where they started as a Marketing Intern in 2021, and later progressed to the role of Digital Media & Social Community Specialist. Since 2023, they have been serving as the Marketing Manager at Just Vertical.

Megan Yamamoto is currently attending Wilfrid Laurier University from 2019 to 2023, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies & Business Management with a Co-op option. Prior to university, they attended Heart Lake Secondary School from 2015 to 2019, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Megan has obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they earned a Social Media Marketing Certificate from HubSpot Academy. Megan also holds a Smart Serve certification from Smart Serve Ontario, obtained in May 2020. In June 2019, they obtained a Safeguard certification from the Lifesaving Society Ontario, and in May 2019, they obtained a HIGH FIVE certification from HIGH FIVE Canada. Megan became a Certified Umpire with Softball Canada in April 2016 and worked as a Skating Instructor for the City of Brampton in March 2015. Lastly, in July 2022, they earned an Email Marketing Certificate from HubSpot Academy.
