Arno de Coning

Arno de Coning is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in system engineering and project management. As the founder of BarCode Game House since December 2022, Arno focuses on indie game development for entertainment and community engagement. At the University of Pretoria, Arno has served as a System Engineer since August 2016, holding dual roles as Senior Technical Manager for Electronic Services and Services Manager, where responsibilities include managing utilities, conducting research for innovative projects, and overseeing various facilities management initiatives. Arno's previous roles include a Director at De Coning Consulting, a Researcher at JustCarbon, and participation in multiple research and engineering projects at North-West University. Arno holds a PhD in Computer and Electronic Engineering, specializing in Intelligent Transport Systems, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in engineering from North-West University.
