Pamela Atanasoff

Pamela Atanasoff, MSW, LICSW, currently serves as a Masters Level Outpatient Clinician at the Justice Resource Institute since September 2023. Previously, Pamela worked as a Licensed Social Worker at the Kennedy-Donovan Center, where collaborative family support and individualized service plans were key to providing long-term assistance to children and their families. As a Clinical Social Work Intern at Arlington Public Schools, Pamela provided counseling and support to students facing social-emotional challenges while working closely with families and school staff. Early career experience includes a Graduate Social Work Intern position at Empower LGA, Inc., focusing on in-home parenting support for DCF-involved families, as well as a long tenure as a Music Teacher and Expressive Arts Facilitator, where Pamela taught and nurtured relationships with young children. Pamela holds a Master's in Social Work from Simmons University and a Bachelor's in English from The State University of New York.
