Ryota Watanabe

Ryota Watanabe started their work experience in 2009 as a Research Assistant at The University of Tokyo. In 2010, they joined FANUC Corporation as an Engineer and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as an Actuary at Aflac. In 2018, they joined justInCase, Inc. as a Product Development role and later became the Chief Product Officer in July 2021.

Ryota Watanabe has a strong educational background in the field of physics. Ryota completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics at Kyoto University from 2003 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued further studies at The University of Tokyo, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Applied Physics from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ryota Watanabe has also achieved some notable certifications. Ryota obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in October 2017. Furthermore, they hold the designation of Fellow, Institute of Actuaries of Japan (FIAJ) from the Institute of Actuaries of Japan, although the dates of obtaining this certification are unknown.
