Diomedes Pael Reitman

Diomedes Pael Reitman has had a varied career, beginning in 2008 as an Assistant Professor at UNINOVE. In 2010, they joined Itaú Unibanco as an Especialista I in Gestão de Riscos, and was promoted to Especialista I de Validação de Modelos de Risco de Crédito and Analista Sênior de Validação de Modelos de Risco de Crédito. In 2008 they joined BV Financeira as Analista Pleno, where they were responsible for the development and implementation of pre-approval policies for credit cards, the development and implementation of a behavioral scoring model, and the development of a model of presumed income. In 2019, they joined Banco Alfa as Gerente de Modelagem e Políticas de Crédito (Produtos Digitais), where they were responsible for the portfolio of digital products, statistical modeling, credit policies, and management and operational reports. In 2020, they joined Banco BV as Head of Data Science for Credit, and in 2021 they joined IOUU as Head of Data Science - Credit Risk. Diomedes is currently the Credit & Risk & Data Science Director (CRO / CAO) at Juvo, a position they have held since 2022.

Diomedes Pael Reitman obtained a Master's degree in Statistics from UFSCar - Alumni in 2007, with a field of study in Bayesian Inference and Modeling. Diomedes also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul in 2003, with a field of study in Mathematics.
