Greg Austin

Greg Austin is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as VP of Renewable Energies EMEA at juwi Group since December 2012, where responsibilities include expanding operations in established markets like Greece, Italy, and South Africa, as well as entering new markets. In addition, Greg has been the Managing Director at AGAMA Biogas since January 2008, focusing on product development, strategy, and technical support, and has held various directorial roles in renewable energy project design and development at companies such as GreenX Energy and AGAMA Energy from 2003 to 2012. Early in their career, Greg worked as a Rural Electrification Engineer at Solar Engineering Services. Greg holds an MSc Med in Biomedical Engineering and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, as well as a diploma in Microhydro Power, Wind Power, and Advanced Photovoltaics from Solar Energy International.
