Kyle McDermott is a seasoned political strategist with extensive experience in public affairs and advocacy campaigns. Since 2013, McDermott has served as a Partner at JVA Campaigns, leveraging a deep understanding of unions and blue-collar workers to drive successful initiatives. Previously, McDermott held the position of Executive Director at a State Political Party from 2011 to 2013, where collaboration with leadership led to the execution of a statewide campaign for a U.S. election. Additional roles include Deputy Campaign Manager at AFSCME, focusing on a statewide ballot initiative in Ohio, and Deputy Political Director at the United Steelworkers from 2007 to 2010. Earlier, McDermott served as Ohio State Director and Regional Director for the AFL-CIO from 2003 to 2007. Educationally, McDermott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Baldwin Wallace University, obtained in 2002.
