Bill McKeown

Bill McKeown has extensive experience in human resources and leadership positions. Bill is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at JVM Realty Corporation, a renowned multi-family real estate investment and property management company. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Lewis University. Before that, they served as the Director of North American Human Resources at Wockhardt Ltd., where they were recruited for their expertise in turning around struggling pharmaceutical companies. Bill also held the position of Assistant Commissioner and Head of Human Resources at the Chicago Department of Aviation, where they successfully revamped the department. Earlier in their career, Bill worked as the Manager of Human Resources at Republic Windows & Doors, Inc., where they gained valuable experience in corporate recruiting and management.

Bill McKeown earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, attending from 1985 to 1989. During the same period, they also pursued the Professional Pilot Program at the University of Illinois - Institute of Aviation. Additionally, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, attending from 1994 to 1996.

In terms of certifications, Bill McKeown has a Mental Health First Aid USA Instructor certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, obtained in August 2023. Bill also holds a Caliper Certification from Talogy (previously PSI Caliper), obtained in October 2022. Furthermore, they hold the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for HR Management (SHRM), obtained in February 2015, and the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, obtained in December 2013.
