Aleksandra Hristov has a diverse and extensive work experience. Aleksandra started their career as a Web & Graphic Designer and Front-end Developer at Vertigo NME in 2009. Aleksandra also had an internship at Graz University of Technology, where they worked on software testing and development. In 2010, they joined Netcetera - Software matters and held various roles such as Senior UX Architect, Co-head of the UX Office, and Senior UX Designer and Engineer. Aleksandra was responsible for UX design, front-end development, bug fixing, and UI design for mobile apps. Aleksandra also served as the Head of the UX Office in Macedonia and was a team leader. In 2022, they worked as the Director of Design at InPlayer before joining JW Player as a Design Director in 2023. Overall, Aleksandra has a strong background in design, user experience, and leadership roles.
Aleksandra Hristov holds a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering - Skopje, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University 'Ss. Cyril and Methodious' - Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Technologies, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Aleksandra also attended Rade Jovchevski Korchagin, a Math Highschool, from 2000 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained a Certificate in User Experience with Specialty recognition in UX Management from Nielsen Norman Group in January 2023, and they are also a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc., since September 2020.
