Olga Bane

Olga Bane has extensive experience in data science and research.

Olga is currently working at JW Player as a Principal Data Scientist, a role they started in 2022.

Before joining JW Player, Olga worked at MeetElise as a Senior Data Scientist and Team Lead from January 2022 to May 2022.

Olga previously worked at JW Player as a Senior Data Scientist from July 2020 to January 2022, and as a Data Scientist from April 2019 to July 2020.

Olga also has experience from Insight Data Science, where they worked as a Technical Advisor from January 2020 to March 2020, and as a Data Science Fellow from January 2019 to March 2019.

Olga had a postdoctoral research position at New York University from January 2017 to March 2019, and completed their PhD at Harvard University, where they studied transgenerational inheritance in C. elegans and worked as a Teaching Fellow.

Before that, Olga worked at Washington University in St. Louis as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor for various biology courses.

Olga also has research experience from Washington University School of Medicine and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Olga Bane has an extensive education history. Olga attended Harvard University from 2010 to 2017, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. During their time at Harvard, they also received a Master of Arts (MA) (Non-terminal) in Molecular Biology from 2010 to 2012. Prior to attending Harvard, Olga completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Molecular Biology and Anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
