Nick Hammer has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Nick is currently working as an Associate Principal at JZW Architects since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Program Associate at the Direct Air Capture Coalition starting from June 2022.
Before joining the Direct Air Capture Coalition, Nick worked as a Principal Architect at The Fox Group from February 2021 to October 2022. Nick also worked as a Project Architect at Think Architecture, Inc. from June 2020 to January 2021. Nick'sprevious role as an Architect was at Method Studio from May 2018 to May 2020.
Nick's early work experience includes various roles at the University of Utah - Employment. From August 2015 to May 2018, they worked as a Graduate Research Fellow and a Public Relations Assistant for the College of Architecture and Planning. Nick also had the opportunity to work with Built Environment Exchange (beX Global) as the Business Relations Manager and Coordinator and as an Oldcastle Research Fellow.
Additionally, Nick gained experience as an Architectural Intern at Architectural Nexus from May 2016 to June 2017. Overall, they have a comprehensive background in architecture and has held roles at various organizations, contributing to different areas within the field.
Nick Hammer earned a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from the University of Utah, where they studied architecture from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Technology from Southern Utah University from 2010 to 2014, specializing in CAD/CAM: Architectural and Civil Design. In 2017, Nick also obtained a certification as an FAA sUAS Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration.
