Mehnaz Aaly Abbas

Mehnaz Aaly Abbas has extensive work experience in the fields of supply chain, procurement, and credit management. Mehnaz started their career at United Bank Limited as an Officer from 1999 to 2002. Mehnaz then worked at Habib Bank Limited as a Branch Manager for a brief period in 2007. From 2007 to 2019, they held various roles at Shell, including Country Contracting & Procurement Head and Country Credit Manager. During this time, they had responsibilities for managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and overseeing credit management activities. Most recently, they joined K-Electric in 2019 as GM Procurement and later became the Head of Supply Chain Excellence. Overall, Mehnaz Aaly Abbas has a strong background in supply chain, procurement, and credit management across different industries.

Mehnaz Aaly Abbas completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from the Institute of Business Management between 2004 and 2007. Prior to this, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics/Maths from Islamabad College for Girls between 1994 and 1997. Mehnaz also attended SH.Khalifa Arab-Pak School from 1994 to 1996, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree from this institution. In 2015, Mehnaz obtained a certification in CIPS from The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
