Sydney Solomon has a diverse range of work experience in various fields. In 2019, they joined K logix as a Cyber Security Research Analyst before moving on to become an Information Security Consultant and eventually a Senior Information Security Consultant. Prior to that, in 2019, they worked as a Cyber Security Apprentice at Evolve Security. In 2018, Sydney served as an Israel Government Fellow at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel. Sydney also worked as an Analyst for the Oberlin Research Group and was involved in debate and treasury roles for the Oberlin Debate Team from 2015 to 2018. Sydney's earlier experiences include internships at the Brennan Center for Justice, Law Office of Bruce Levinson, and Alliance for Justice, where they focused on research, advocacy, and legal work. Sydney also served as an Event Planner for the Oxford Wine Society. In 2015, Sydney worked as a Social Justice and Inter-Group Relations Intern at The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, where they focused on community outreach and research. Sydney Solomon pursued their higher education by attending Oberlin College from 2015 to 2018. There, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with High Honors in Politics and concentrated in International Studies. In 2017, Sydney had the opportunity to study at the University of Oxford, where they focused on Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Before their time at Oberlin, Sydney briefly attended McGill University from 2014 to 2015, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Sydney obtained various certifications, including Evolve Security Certified Professional from Evolve Security Academy in January 2020, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021, and Splunk Core Certified Power User from Splunk in July 2020.
