Douglas Palaske began their career in 1984 as a Sales Representative for Triad Systems Corp., selling inventory and accounting business systems to hardware, home-center, and lumber stores. Douglas achieved quota and was an achiever in all years. In 1987, they became a Sales Representative for Prime Computer, selling Manufacturing Vertical (MRP) with Prime Computer, then CAD/CAM after the Computervision acquisition. Again, they achieved quota and was an achiever in all years. In 1990, they became a Sales Manager for Gores Technology Group, a VC firm that bought Graftek (CAD/CAM/CAE) from Unisys. Douglas initially focused on the Midwest, then all of North America, and achieved quota and was an achiever in all years. In 1998, they became a PreSales Consultant for "To-Order" Manufacturing Vertical for J.D. Edwards, selling an Engineering Configurator solution called CustomWorks. In 2001, they became an Account Executive for CD Group Inc. In 2003, they became Manager of Sales & Mktg. for CDI Technology, providing JDE & SAP integrated ecommerce and payment software solutions. In 2015, they became Director of Sales Marketing for K-Rise Systems, providing strategic ERP integrated solutions for customers, suppliers, and employees.

Douglas Palaske earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geography from Western Illinois University between 1973 and 1978.
