Jochen Gassert

Jochen Gassert has extensive work experience in the energy industry, particularly in the field of independent engineering. Jochen started their career in 2002 as a Project Engineer at Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services GmbH. Jochen held this role until 2010 when they became the Location Manager in Hamburg at GL Garrad Hassan. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager in Independent Engineering at the same company, until 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Jochen worked as a Senior Project Engineer at DNV GL. In 2017, they joined K2 Management as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Due Diligence. Jochen later took on the role of Prokurist (Einzelprokura) before being promoted to the position of Principal Consultant/Manager of Due Diligence for the EMEA region in March 2021.

Jochen Gassert began their education journey in 1992 with an apprenticeship in Constructional Drawing. Jochen completed this program in 1994. Following this, they attended RWTH Aachen University from 1994 to 2001 where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering, earning a Diplom. In 1999, they also briefly studied at UTS Sydney, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree or specific field of study from this institution.
