Mitch Henderson

Mitch Henderson is an experienced K9 handler and leader in search and rescue operations, currently serving as President of the South Carolina Search and Rescue Dog Association since 2010, where significant achievements include receiving NAPWDA certifications in trailing and human remains detection. Concurrently, since 2021, Mitch has been an Explosives Detection K9 Handler at K2 Solutions, Inc., involved in cargo screening at major airports and holding certifications from the International Police Work Dog Association and TSA. Prior to these roles, from 1998 to 2019, Mitch worked as a Residual Operator at Spartanburg Water, ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining water purification processes, while holding a Class E Water Operator license. Education was completed at James F Byrnes High School.
