Volker Osterholt has a diverse work experience in the natural resources and environment sectors. Volker'smost recent role was at K2fly as the Product Owner Resource Disclosure, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Consultant - Europe at K2fly from May 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining K2fly, Osterholt was the Managing Director and Owner of Evoxar, a company focused on transforming resource asset data into valuable information for decision-making in the mining industry. Volker held this role from January 2017 onwards.

Osterholt also worked as a Researcher at Delft University of Technology from July 2015 to February 2020, where they conducted research in the field.

Furthermore, Osterholt worked as a Geostatistician at Golder Associates from August 2005 to October 2006.

Volker'scareer began as a Research Scholar at the University of Queensland, where they conducted research on geostatistics and probabilistic simulation of geology towards a MPhil degree, with a focus on applying multiple-point statistics to orebody geology from 2004 to 2005.

Volker Osterholt holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from The University of Bonn, which they obtained between 1996 and 2002. Volker also completed an MPhil degree in Geostatistics at The University of Queensland from 2004 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including Introduction to Big Data, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Machine Learning, from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2020 and April 2016.
