Fazir Mohamed Fahmy

Fazir Mohamed Fahmy is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure engineering and community leadership. Currently serving as Co Organizer for the Kubernetes User Group Singapore (K8SUG) since February 2023, Fazir plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration among over 2000 members interested in cloud-native technologies. In the position of Lead Consultant for Virtusa since May 2018, expertise includes the design and implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for high-profile clients. Prior roles include Lead System Engineer at Pearson, where responsibility encompassed server lifecycle management, and several positions at Virtusa focused on server management and application deployment. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin, Fazir has cultivated a diverse skill set that spans across software development, project coordination, and substantial experience in managing both virtual and physical server environments.
