Isabel Gibney started their work experience in 2018 as a Curatorial Intern at the National Museum of Asian Art. Isabel cataloged and researched a collection of 20th-century Japanese prints, and also assisted in building relationships with potential donors.
In 2019, Isabel worked as a Digital Arts Counselor at TIC Summer Camp, where they designed and taught digital art courses to children. Isabel also led a program aimed at promoting girls' engagement in STEM.
From 2020 to 2021, Isabel worked as an English Teacher at SetSail 教育, teaching English speaking, writing, and interview skills to Chinese students. Isabel also marketed classes and provided guidance to parents.
Currently, Isabel is employed as a 2D Artist at Kabam, a position they started in 2021. Isabel'sresponsibilities include producing concept art for stylized characters, vehicles, and props, collaborating with other artists and designers, and revising junior artists' concepts.
Outside of their employment, Isabel has also worked as an Illustrator since 2018. Isabel has worked with clients such as Dungeons & Dragons, Ghostfire Gaming, and Hachette Books. Isabel has received awards and honors for their illustrations, including being named the Illustrators of the Future 2021 First Quarter Winner.
Isabel Gibney pursued their undergraduate education at Harvard University from 2016 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on the History of Art and Architecture. In 2019, they also attended Syn Studio: École d'art - Art School for a Portfolio Intensive program. The specific field of study for this program is not provided.
