Jeremy Tanksley

Jeremy Tanksley has a diverse range of work experience in the field of video editing and production. Jeremy began their career as a freelance video editor for Kabam in December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a video editor and in post-production for Clique and Who What Wear from May 2017 to October 2022.

From 2015 to 2019, Jeremy worked at AwesomenessTV as a video editor, where they co-produced and edited YouTube series, edited short-form series with high view counts, adapted content for television, and created original content for various brands. Jeremy also created trailers and ad content for feature films.

Jeremy also served as an associate producer and editor for Machinima from April 2016 to April 2017, and as an editor and VFX artist for POPSUGAR from October 2014 to April 2015. Before that, they worked as an editor and VFX/GFX artist for J~Cut Films, Inc. from June 2012 to June 2014.

Prior to their career in video editing, Jeremy gained experience as a youth sports official for YMCA of San Diego County from June 2008 to July 2012 and as a basketball official for North County Basketball Officials Association from August 2009 to June 2012. Jeremy also worked as an editor for One Film and Video Entertainment/One Productions from April 2011 to June 2012.

Jeremy Tanksley attended Palomar College from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Jeremy then pursued further education at UC San Diego from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts. Additionally, Jeremy has obtained certifications in Cybersecurity at Work from LinkedIn in March 2022 and in Healthcare Provider - Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in October 2015.
