Systems Designer at Kabam

Tristan Wong has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tristan began their career as a Warehouse General Worker at Kensie, where they handled various tasks such as processing and packaging clothing orders.

After that, Tristan worked as a Freelance Writer/Editor, offering their editing services on writing forums and sites. Tristan then attended Vancouver Film School as a student, learning the fundamentals of game design and working on multiple projects, including a machinima and a multiplayer level design.

Tristan gained experience in the gaming industry as a QA Tester at Roadhouse Interactive and later took on the role of a Junior Game Designer at Hothead Games. Tristan also worked as a Quality Assurance Associate at Hothead Games before joining BANDAI NAMCO Studios Vancouver Inc. as an Associate Game Designer. In this role, they led level design efforts, developed character mock-ups, and designed enemy attack patterns.

Tristan's most recent position was at Kabam, where they served as a Quest Designer and later as a Systems Designer. As a Quest Designer, they designed combat puzzle elements and wrote scripts for events in Marvel Contest of Champions.
