Emma Lugo

Emma Lugo has extensive experience in community-focused roles, currently serving as a Programmer and President at KBOO Community Radio since June 2010. KBOO, located in Portland, Oregon, operates as a volunteer-produced radio station, providing broadcasts to the greater Portland area, Corvallis, and the Gorge with significant reach. Prior to this, Emma contributed as a volunteer at the Nashville Peace & Justice Center from 1997 to 2009. Emma holds a degree in Studio Arts from the University of Minnesota, where studies were completed from September 1990 to May 1994.
