Elieke (Demmer) Kearns, PhD, RD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elieke is currently working as the Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs at Kabrita USA - The Gentle Goat Milk Foods starting from October 2023. Prior to this, they founded Nosh.it Food Facts in January 2019 and served as the Founder. From January 2022 to September 2023, they worked at Bobbie as the Head of Scientific Affairs and previously as Medical. At Bobbie, they played a key role in building trust and credibility among healthcare professionals, scaling the Medical Community to over 3K members in 12 months, managing a CRM, launching a Pediatric Office Sampling Program, and developing medical content such as infographics, a Medical website, newsletters, etc.

From March 2019 to March 2021, Elieke served as the Principal Nutrition Scientist for KeVita and The HIVE at PepsiCo. In this role, they provided nutrition science business support, built strong external relationships, developed strategies for health professional conferences, guided new innovations, and ensured truthful and non-misleading nutrition and health claims across various platforms. Prior to this, from January to December 2018, they worked at RXBAR as the Scientific Affairs Manager, where they built a new department, applied Design Thinking techniques, and made data/science applicable to empower various departments.

Elieke also has experience in research and academia. Elieke worked at Dairy Management Inc., National Dairy Council as the Director of Nutrition Research from June 2016 to December 2017, and previously as the Manager of Nutrition Research from January 2015 to June 2016. Elieke also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at UC Davis from September 2011 to April 2015 and served as a Graduate Student Researcher at USDA-ARS Western Human Nutrition Research Center from September 2011 to December 2014. Additionally, they worked as a Contract Dietitian at Guckenheimer from August 2012 to December 2014 and as a Business Development Fellow at UC Davis Graduate School of Management from August 2014 to January 2015.

Elieke (Demmer) Kearns, PhD, RD obtained a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nutritional Biology from the same university. In 2009, they obtained a Food Safety Manager Certification Examination from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. In 2011, they became a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Additionally, they completed a Business Development Fellow in the MBA Program at the University of California, Davis' Graduate School of Management from 2014 to 2015. Most recently, they completed a Professional Certificate Course in Project Management from 2023 to 2033.
