Thomas A. Martin III is the Vice President of Tax at Kadant. Thomas has over 25 years of experience in tax management, compliance, and consulting. Thomas also managed tax staff worldwide to provide tax consulting and compliance services to clients within budget. Thomas established procedures to monitor the effective tax rate and notify clients of any significant changes in the expected tax rate. Thomas also effectively communicated with the client's executives regarding all significant tax issues.

Prior to Ernst & Young, Thomas served as Tax Manager at Cabletron Systems from February 1997 to May 1999. Thomas also served as Tax Manager at Coopers & Lybrand from January 1993 to December 1997.

Thomas A. Martin III has a Masters in Science in Taxation from Bentley University - McCallum Graduate School of Business, an MBA in Accounting from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont. Thomas is also certified as a public accountant.
