Gerard M. has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Gerard started their career as a Software Developer at Montupet in 2014. From there, they transitioned into a hybrid role as a Software Developer and Software Tester at CYTI Limited, where they worked on enterprise-level public-facing websites.

In 2016, Gerard joined Citi as a Software Testing Senior Analyst, focusing on software testing and analysis. Gerard then moved on to Intelligent Environments in 2017, where they worked as a QA Analyst, responsible for analyzing software components and requirements, designing and implementing test scenarios, and conducting functional and integration testing.

Gerard then joined HHAeXchange in 2018 as a Senior QA Engineer, contributing to agile software development for the US healthcare market. Gerard was involved in requirements analysis, test planning, test case creation and execution, and reporting on QA activities and status.

From 2019 to 2020, Gerard worked as a Software Tester at Fluent Technology, where they performed manual testing for Flexi-Grant, a grant management solution used by various organizations. Gerard also conducted performance testing using Gatling.

In 2021, Gerard held the role of a Quality Assurance Analyst at TerraQuest, where they delivered manual and automated testing for website development projects and data migration projects involving multiple databases and Azure File Share.

Following that, Gerard joined ESO as a Software Engineer in Test in 2021, designing and executing test plans and test cases for the company's SaaS products, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations.

Currently, Gerard holds the position of a Software Development Engineer in Test at Kadence since 2023. In this role, they are responsible for testing the web application, generating and updating automated tests, developing API testing frameworks, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Gerard M.'s education history begins in 1999 when they obtained a BA Hons in Business Administration from The University of Huddersfield. In 2000, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at Ulster University. Moving forward, in 2006, they completed a Certificate in Software Testing from ISEB. Following this, in 2012 and 2013, Gerard attended Belfast Metropolitan College to acquire the Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist degree in .NET 3.5. Lastly, in 2019 and 2020, they participated in a Meetup Belfast organized by the Ministry of Testing, focusing on Software Testing and Quality Control Technology/Technician.
