Jon Lipovetz is currently a developer at Kaggle. Prior to that, they were a software engineer at Google for two years, working on infrastructure for the Chrome Web Store. Jon also spent time as an engineering resident, working on server-side development for the Chrome Loading Experience and the Private Prefetch Proxy project.
Before Google, Lipovetz was an application developer intern at General Mills, where they improved synchronization of critical data between sales applications from overnight to real-time using pub/sub. Jon was also an infrastructure automation engineer intern at Optum, where they headed the development of bulk-uploading scripts to automate a tedious workflow for a community of ~100 engineers.
Lipovetz has also been a undergraduate teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota from January 2017 to May 2019.
