Erica Chappelear

Erica Chappelear is the HR Manager at Kahler Slater since July 2017, where she revamped the performance review process and collaborated with experts in training development. Prior to her current role, she was the Educational Outreach & Recruiting Advisor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture and Urban Planning from April 2014 to July 2017. Erica led a strategic recruitment strategy and established relationships with stakeholders resulting in increased applications for admission. She also served as the Director of Lay Ministry at Lake Park Lutheran Church from September 2007 to January 2014, where she launched a website redesign and digital marketing strategy leading to increased weekly attendance. Additionally, Erica worked as a Volunteer Coordinator during a transitional period after a leadership change at the church. She holds a Master of Science in Training and Human Resource Development from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
