Nick Vaughan

Nick Vaughan has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Nick currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at Kaiko Systems, where they focus on turning frontline operations into structured and verified data to improve safety and efficiency in shipping. Prior to this, Nick worked at Lloyd's Register for over a decade, where they held various roles including Senior Sales/Key Account Manager, Business Lead & Product Manager, Marine Existing Ship Surveyor, Marine New Construction Surveyor, and Graduate Trainee Surveyor. In these roles, Nick managed key accounts, developed and delivered a cloud-based data management platform, conducted ship surveys and inspections, and oversaw the construction of gas carriers, oil tankers, and bulk carriers. Nick also has experience as an Assistant Engineer at Orwell Offshore.

Nick Vaughan obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol, where they attended from 2005 to 2009.
