John M. Donnan

John M. Donnan is EVP, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel. He joined the company in 1993 as Associate Corporate Counsel, was named Deputy General Counsel in 2000 and General Counsel in 2007. Prior to his appointment as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel in March 2021, Mr. Donnan served as Executive Vice President – Legal, Compliance and Human Resources. Mr. Donnan manages the company’s corporate legal, compliance, internal audit, environmental, safety and quality functions. Prior to joining Kaiser, Mr. Donnan was an associate in the Corporate/Securities section of the Houston, Texas, office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka. He holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in finance and accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a member of the Texas and California bars.
