Lizzie Hess

Lizzie Hess is a seasoned freelance editor and writer with extensive experience in scientific and medical editing. Currently semi-retired, Lizzie has been self-employed as a freelance medical/science editor since January 2017 and has served as a senior writer/editor at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research since December 2014. Previous roles include scientific editor at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, senior editor at Palladian Partners, Inc., and editor at Cygnus Corporation. Lizzie holds a Master of Environmental Management in Natural Resource Economics from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and English from the University of Virginia.
