Katie Coleman

Director, Collaborative Science at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute

Katie Coleman has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Katie started their career at Access Community Health Network as a Manager of Planning & Development from 2001 to 2004. In 2006, they joined Kaiser Permanente as a Collaborative Scientist and later took on the role of Director of the Social Needs Network for Evaluation and Translation (SONNET) in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of the Collaborative Science Division at Kaiser Permanente. Additionally, in 2021, they also became the Director of the Center for Accelerating Care Transformation (ACT Center) at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute.

Katie Coleman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Policy and Health Policy from Northwestern University between 1997 and 2001. Katie further pursued their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a Master of Science in Public Health degree with a concentration in Health Policy and Administration from 2004 to 2006.
