Monika Sanchez is a seasoned research and evaluation professional with extensive experience in community health, early learning, and youth development. Currently serving as a Research Associate at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute since 2017, Monika contributes to community health improvement through collaborative assessment and evaluation. Prior to this role, Monika was the Senior Research and Evaluation Manager at Thrive Washington, where efforts focused on formative evaluation and data-driven decision-making to enhance early learning. Monika's tenure at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University as a Senior Policy Analyst involved conducting research to support youth-serving organizations. Additionally, Monika worked as an Associate Regional Economist at SANDAG, producing influential technical and policy reports, and began their career as an Analyst at Micronomics, Inc., specializing in economic analysis. Monika holds a Master’s degree in Population and Development from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC San Diego.
