Amelia McGowan

Amelia McGowan, LCSW, currently serves as the Behavioral Health Manager II for the Pediatric Developmental Care Coordination Program at Kaiser Permanente, starting in September 2023. Previously, Amelia held the position of Associate Director of Special Education and Clinical Supervisor at KIPP Public Schools Northern California from July 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities included clinical supervision, direct therapeutic services, and management of mental health clinicians across multiple school sites. Prior experience includes roles at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County, Ann Martin Center, and Seneca Family of Agencies, among others, with a focus on individual, group, and family therapy, clinical training, and development of educational mental health programs. Amelia earned a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish, also from Boston University.
