David Whitworth

David Whitworth has over two decades of experience in training, communications, and organizational change management across various industries. Currently serving as Principal at Kaiser Permanente since October 2017, David leads training and development activities for IT project and program managers, focusing on learning services and process improvement. Prior roles include Head of Standards & Training at Shire, where global project management standards and tools were established, and Director of Training & Communication for Walmart's International Compliance, implementing a $10M LMS and a compliance training strategy. Earlier experience includes managing training initiatives at Amgen and leading an instructional design team at Microsoft. David holds an MS in Instructional and Performance Technology from Boise State University and a BS in Sociology from Brigham Young University.
