Michael Berton has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael started their career as a Store Associate at Wawa, Inc, where they worked from 2006 to 2011. Michael then worked as an Editor at Onward State, writing over 250 stories and managing other writers from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they served as a Writing Intern at Penn State Ag Science Magazine from January 2012 to May 2012. Michael then joined the Philadelphia Orchestra Association as a Public Relations Intern, where they were later promoted to Public Relations Assistant. In this role, they managed social media accounts, handled press-related matters, and played a crucial role in a viral video incident. From 2013 to 2014, Michael worked as a Communications Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Michael then transitioned to the Public Interest Law Center, initially working as a Communications & Development Associate before being promoted to Development Manager, where they managed the donor database, developed website content, and implemented marketing strategies. Most recently, Michael held roles at TheCup.us as a Writer, providing previews, game recaps, and general news about the US Open Cup, and at the Kaiserman Jewish Community Center as the Manager and later Director of Development and HR.

Michael Berton attended Marple Newtown High School from 2005 to 2008. Later, they studied Journalism; Print; journalism and mass communications at The Pennsylvania State University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
