Jonas Olme

Jonas Olme has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jonas currently works at KAITO Insight Oy as a Principal Data Scientist, where they leverage their expertise in developing cutting-edge solutions for complex business problems, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Consultant in the field of Data Engineering and Data Science at the same company, where they assisted various organizations in extracting insights and value from their unstructured data.

Before joining KAITO Insight Oy, Jonas worked as a Senior Analytics Consultant at Valamis from 2018 to 2020. Jonas also gained valuable experience at IBM, where they held positions such as Senior Software Specialist and Technical Sales Specialist in the IBM Rational division, focusing on requirements, product, project, and portfolio management. Beginning their career at Telelogic Sweden, they served as a Field Application Engineer and Corporate Trainee, specializing in requirements and product management.

Additionally, Jonas worked as a Research Assistant at Åbo Akademi University and had summer/part-time positions at Stora Enso Packaging.

Jonas Olme obtained a Master of Science in Technology with a focus on Telecommunication Software from Åbo Akademi University between 1999 and 2007. Jonas also participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Universitat Politècnica de València from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, Jonas has several certifications, including the Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation, Dataiku ML Practitioner, Dataiku Core Designer, Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner, Alteryx Partner Technical Certification, IBM Design Thinking Practitioner, Snowflake Sales Professional Accreditation, and Text Analytics - Levels 1 and 2 from IBM. Jonas'smost recent certification was the Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation in May 2023.
