Dr. Bhawna Basar

Dr. Bhawna Basar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and program management. Currently serving as Program Manager at Piramal Foundation since March 2023, Dr. Basar previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Akal University from July 2016 to August 2021, and at Lovely Professional University for a brief period in mid-2014. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager at the Council for Advancement of Peoples Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) from May 2008 to September 2009. Dr. Basar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, completing the degree between February 2010 and August 2015.
