Maulana Ibrahim Rau

Maulana Ibrahim Rau is currently employed as a Researcher in the Sustainable Society Lab Group at Kajima Technical Research Institute, effective October 2024. Previously, Maulana served as the Manager of the Water Management & Engineering Division at PT Tectona Mitra Utama since January 2021, overseeing business planning and project marketing. As a PhD Researcher at Niigata University from October 2021 to September 2024, Maulana conducted projects focused on a Machine Learning and Remote Sensing-based Water Management Platform, collaborating with multiple universities. Maulana also held roles as a Lecturer at IPB University, Head of the Hydrology & Hydrogeology Section at PT. Quantus Consultants Indonesia, and completed various internships and research positions. Maulana's education includes a PhD in Hydraulics and Water Management from Niigata University, an MSc in Geoinformation Technology and Cartography from the University of Glasgow, and a B.Eng in Civil and Environmental Engineering from IPB University.
