Kunwoo Kim

Kunwoo Kim is an accomplished economist currently serving as the Chief Economist at Kakao Mobility since July 2019, leading the Digital Economy Research Institute. Prior experience includes a researcher role at LG Economic Research Institute, where notable achievements involved publishing influential research reports on the effects of digital technologies on the economy, analyzing financial performance of LG Group affiliates, and collaborating on integrated business strategies. Prior positions also include a Junior Researcher at the Korea Development Institute and an internship at the Center for Good Corporation. Kunwoo Kim served as a Sergeant in the US Army within the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology, a Master's in Public Policy with a focus on Economics from KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and completion of a Data Science summer program at Barcelona School of Economics.
