Heather Long

Heather Long currently serves as the Chief Economist at Navy Federal Credit Union, focusing on the health of the middle class and "Main Street." Prior to this role, Long was an Economic Columnist for The Washington Post, where contributions earned a 2024 Gerald Loeb Award for Commentary, and was involved in significant economic coverage as an Editorial Board Member and Economics Correspondent.
