Sandra Farag has a strong background in library services and management. Sandra most recently worked as the Head of Youth Services at Kalamazoo Public Library starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Youth Collection Development at Ingram Content Group from 2018 to 2020. In this role, Sandra led a team in providing materials to public and school libraries across the country, implementing changes to improve efficiency, and developing new diversity resources.

Before joining Ingram, Sandra worked at The New York Public Library from 2015 to 2018. Here, they served as a Supervising Librarian for BookOps-shared technical services, overseeing the acquisition and processing of materials for the New York and Brooklyn Public Libraries, with a focus on youth-related materials.

Sandra's extensive experience in library services began in 1998 at the New York Public Library, where they held the position of Senior Librarian at the Mid-Manhattan Library. In this role, they managed collections, public service, and a team of support staff to ensure smooth operations.
