Grant Cothrel

Grant Cothrel is a Sr. Design Engineer at Kaleidoscope Innovation and Product Design since August 2019, specializing in medical device development. Previous experience includes roles as an R&D Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Cincinnati Test Systems, where responsibilities involved supporting international consumer electronic customers, prototyping valve manifolds, and designing complex industrial leak test machines. Grant's early career includes tutoring at the University of Cincinnati, a design engineering co-op at Kaleidoscope Innovation, and research on heavy metal ion filtration methods. With a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati, Grant has demonstrated a strong foundation in engineering principles and design throughout various internships and co-op positions, including process engineering at SABIC and a research project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
