Derek Paton

Derek Paton has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Derek currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Kalera. Prior to this, they worked at Target for many years, holding positions such as Strategy and Innovation Director, Operations Director for Enterprise Growth Initiatives, District Team Leader, Store Team Leader, and Senior Executive Team Leader. In these roles, they demonstrated their ability to drive growth, lead teams, and improve profitability.

Derek Paton obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Derek also holds a certification in HACCP from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., obtained in 2021.
