Ray Rahman

Ray Rahman is the Founder and CEO of Kaliber Labs. Ray is a serial entrepreneur with decades of experience in private equity, fintech, and big data. He is highly skilled at creating markets for new products and solutions, and has achieved multiple exits. Of his many achievements, Ray is proudest of his work as the structurer and creator of a new asset class, MCBS (micro-credit-backed securities). BRAC MCBS Series 1 achieved a AAA rating and provided entrepreneurial capital to over 1.2 million poor households – and in the years since, Ray’s contributions to BRAC MCBS have helped lift millions of people out of poverty.

Ray has a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a B.A. in economics from the University of Rochester, and an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan School of Management.
