Simon Woor

Simon Woor has extensive work experience in laboratory and research roles. Simon is currently employed at Kalium Health as a Senior Laboratory Technician/Laboratory Manager, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Kalium Health from August 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining Kalium Health, Simon worked at Crescendo Biologics Limited as a Laboratory Technician from September 2019 to June 2020. Simon also served as a Production Technician at TWISTDX LIMITED from July 2012 to December 2018.

Simon's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Technician at Smart Holograms from November 2004 to June 2012. During this time, they contributed to the development of glucose sensitive holographic biosensors and managed various laboratory tasks.

Simon also worked at Cambridge University Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, where they held the positions of Media/Core Research Technician from June 2000 to November 2004, Junior Research Technician from April 1999 to June 2000, and Junior Core Research Technician from September 1998 to April 1999.

Simon's career began as a YTS Laboratory Technician at Cambridge University Department of Pathology from September 1997 to September 1998.

Simon Woor obtained an HNC in Applied Biology from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001.
