Tom Collings

Tom Collings has a diverse work experience in the medical technology and design engineering fields. Tom is currently the CEO and co-founder of Kalium Health, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, Tom worked at Cambridge Consultants as a Medical Technology Programme Manager from August 2011 to May 2019. In this role, they led complex medical device development projects, covering all stages of the product lifecycle. Before joining Cambridge Consultants, Tom was a Design Engineer at Kinneir Dufort Design Ltd from June 2004 to August 2011. Tom'sfocus was on product development, particularly in the areas of diagnostic instrumentation and drug delivery devices.

Tom Collings has a diverse education history. In 1999, they began studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bristol, where they earned their MEng degree in 2003. In 2017, they attended the Cambridge Judge Business School for a Biotech Venture Creation Weekend program. Tom furthered their education at the same institution from 2018 to 2020 through an Accelerate program. In 2020, Tom participated in the SME Leaders Programme offered by the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub. Additionally, from 2020 to 2021, they pursued the Cambridge General Management Certificate of Achievement at the Cambridge Judge Business School, obtaining the certification in July 2021 from the Executive Education department.
