Claire Jacobs has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and research. Claire started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, where they assisted postdocs in laboratory experiments and maintained the lab inventory. Claire then joined Silvec Biologics as a Research Technician, contributing to the research team by preparing reagents, assisting with experiments, and maintaining plants in the growth chamber and greenhouse. Claire also gained skills in various techniques such as cell preparation, transformation, and protein purification.
