Carlos Guerrero

Carlos Guerrero is the Director of Process Chemistry at Kallyope. Carlos has also worked as an Assistant Professor at UC San Diego, a graduate student researcher at The Scripps Research Institute, and a Senior Research Investigator at Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Guerrero's research focuses on complex molecule synthesis and methodology development. Carlos has also been involved in the total synthesis of avrainvillamide, stephacidins A & B, and cortistatin A. In addition, they have been a Route Scouting Specialist for Early Phase Chemical Development.

Carlos Guerrero graduated with an AB in chemistry from Harvard University. Carlos then went on to obtain their PhD in organic chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute.
