Markku Ahonen

Markku Ahonen is a highly experienced Senior Design Engineer at Kalmar since December 2018, specializing in mechanical and hydraulic design, control systems, system engineering, and R&D project management. Prior to this role, Markku held various engineering positions at Patria from May 2007 to December 2018, including Chief Design Engineer and Senior Design Engineer, focusing on brake system design, model-based design, software development, and system safety. Markku began the career as a Research Assistant at the University of Oulu and worked as a Foreman at Outokumpu. Markku holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu, completed in 2007.
